The Ferronordic story
Ferronordic‘s history started in 2010, when the Group took over the construction equipment distribution business from Volvo Construction Equipment in Russia. At the time, we had six outlets and about 160 employees. Today Ferronordic has 41 workshops in Germany, the United States and Kazakhstan, and approximately 800 employees.
From the beginning, our business was built on the rich and diversified experience of our teams and their commitment to go the extra mile for our customers. We work for our customers, but we also work with them to come up with innovative solutions that challenge industry norms. This gives our work purpose and a strong sense of involvement in shaping the future of our industry.
Our history
Ferronordic expands to the USA by acquiring Rudd Equipment Company, Inc. (“Rudd”) for a total purchase price of USD 105m. In 2022, Rudd had revenue of USD 308m.
Ferronordic sells its Russian business, receiving SEK 1,090m (EUR 99m)
Ferronordic becomes distributor for Sandvik mobile crushers and screens in Germany and Kazakhstan
Ferronordic becomes distributor for Sandvik crushers and screens in Russia
Ferronordic becomes an official dealer of Volvo Trucks and Renault Trucks in parts of Germany
Ferronordic becomes dealer for Volvo Construction Equipment and Mecalac in Kazakhstan
Volvo Construction Equipment recognizes Ferronordic as EMEA Dealer of the Year
Rebuild Centre in Yekaterinburg opens
